With the collaboration of ROBOTIKER as agent of the Basque Technology Network.

The objective of the project is the development of a supervision and control system that provides the critical information necessary to manage and to optimize the whole process of paper manufacture with the following functions:
Þ Integrate the interfaces man-machine, distributing instructions to each local control
from a common instructions process.
Þ Display the state of the process.
Þ Manage the control parameters associated to the final product's in order to automate the manufacture in lots.
Þ Capture in real time the information needed to determine the machine ‘s state of operation.
Þ Store historical information of the production data.
Þ Allow the remote access to the machine´s data for tele-diagnose, maintenance and remote configuration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


2º PAPEFLUX   Pulp's flow distribution investigation project in machines for the paper manufacture.

The main objective of this project is the investigation of the behaviour of a discontinuous water-pulp fluid in Paper Machines, more precisely in the distribution mechanism of the entrance part of the CP box, called “tube bank” by means of simulation of computacional dynamics of fluids and real experimentation.
The results of this investigation will serve as a base for the optimization of the distribution mechanism's design in this type of machines, and a sophiticated and advanced control, able to fulfill the requirements of formation, fiber direction and profile uniformity needed in the paper manufacture.
GOROSTIDI will introduce in the market a new product that will produce paper of excellent quality, much more economically competitive, more reliable and with a shorter delivery time than the present ones.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 


3º PRENDIZA  
Innovation in the design of shoe-press.

The aim of this project is the development, parameterization and standardization of the shoe-press to reduce the costs of design and manufacture.

Advantages of the project :
Þ Reduction of the delivery time.
Þ Adaptation of the press' designs to the new necessities of the paper industry.
Þ A product made for client's needs.
Þ Base design from which the different configurations of the presses are studied, depending on the type of paper to be manufactured.
Þ Optimization of the manufacturing methods through design tools.
Þ Variation in the sizes of the modules. Elaboration of a scaled standard catalogue according to machine widths and working pressures of work.
Þ Parameterization of elements. The design will be made so that changing some of the parameters that will depend on the conditions of each client most of the drawings and documents will automatically be generated.
Þ Reduction of the designing time in a 35%.
